Strengths coaching is all about focusing on what you do well instead of focusing on your weaknesses. When discussing your strengths, we are helping to discover and capitalize on what you do best.
According to Gallup:
- People who focus on using their strengths are three times more likely to report having an excellent quality of life.
- Those who use their strengths every day are six times more likely to be engaged on the job.
- Teams that focus on their strengths are 12.5% more productive.
Gallup’s StrengthsFinder assessment is the first step in helping you identify your unique combination of skills, talents and knowledge – also known as strengths.
During our sessions we will talk about how you use your strengths and how you don’t, then we will build actions around those points.
Does this mean we don’t look at gaps? That’s up to you! You’re the person leading your personal development journey. I believe that having a balanced look at your growth opportunities is the best approach, but give us a call and set up an initial planning session to discuss your personal goals.
